Allahabad University PGAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

MA, M.Com, M.Sc: Passed or appearing in Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject from any recognized university.
LL.B. (3 Year): Passed or appearing in any Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
LL.M.: Passed or appearing in Law Degree (LL.B.) from a recognized University.
B.Ed. / MBA: Passed or appearing in any Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
M.Ed.: Passed or appearing in B.Ed. degree from a recognized University.
IPS (Professional): Post-specific eligibility applies; check notification for details.

Allahabad University Selection Process & Exam Centers

Selection Mode: Selection is based on the merit list derived from the AU PGAT 2026 Entrance Exam results.
Exam Cities (Online & Offline): Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and New Delhi.
Exam Cities (Online Only): Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.
ABC ID Requirement: It is mandatory for students to create an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID for the admission process.

ABC ID Benefits: The ABC ID provides a unique student identifier, enabling seamless academic tracking. It allows for credit accumulation and transfer, supporting multiple entry and exit options in educational programs. Credits are stored securely for up to 7 years.How to Fill AU PGAT Form: Visit the AU Pravesh portal and register between 05/05/2026 and 25/05/2026. Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and required ID proofs. Review all columns in the preview section carefully before final submission to avoid discrepancies.

Admit Card & Results: Admit cards will be released a few days before the scheduled exam date. Results and subsequent counseling schedules will be notified on the official university website and through candidate login portals.
